Jillian took some pet portraits of my cats (and me with my cats) after I learned one of them had cancer and I would be losing him soon. She was so kind and personable in all my interactions with her, and although this situation was a sad one- she made the experience fun and a fond memory (and she was great at interacting with my cats and getting great shots of them!). The photos are beautiful and I am so deeply grateful that I have them to cherish now that my cat is gone.

Jill is amazing. She is great to work with. Her photos are always beautiful. We hired her back in 2020 for our 2021 wedding. She did our engagement photos, our wedding photos and now family photos every year. She is kind, patient and funny. Our kids love her. Jillian took pictures for a family reunion recently. There were 25 of us with 3 generations. She did a fantastic job, allowed us to take as many pictures as we wanted. Jillian is so amazingggg!! Everything she took was so perfect. I told her how important my senior pictures and she even rent a cap and gown for me so I don't need to buy one. On the day of the shoot, she even surprised me with a gold tassel that I can take home and a valedictorian stole! I have a lot of requests and she's very okay and happy with it. We had a very small chitchat that my brother didn't graduate because he chose to help my mom and she offered to take a picture of him!! Me and my family are very thankful for her existence!! I contacted EMLS for some family pictures and was really pleased with the entire experience. Within a few hours, Jillian reached out to me with a quote and details of all of the services we would get within the quote. After the initial consult, we talked through dates and logistics and she was outstanding about keeping in contact as the date of our photo shoot drew near. The date of the shoot, she arrived early and we explored the park area for some places that looked scenic. Jillian recommended the location and I'm so glad that she did because it was perfect. The backdrop, lack of photo bombers, and the atmosphere were all perfect. We had a little issue with some sun glare - but Jillian did an awesome job touching up the photos to make sure they looked perfect. The best part - I wasn't just a transaction to her. She followed up after the shoot to make sure I liked the pictures and ask if there was anything she could do. Everything was perfect! We have young children, so it was important for me to choose someone that was patient with them. She was and then some. The girls loved her and the kind touch that she displayed throughout the process. As an epilogue, we're already planning out when we can book another shoot!

Jillian was wonderful to work with from start to finish! Our photos weren't the easiest, with a 3 month old and a very distracted dog in busy Balboa Park on a weekend, but Jillian produced wonderful images that I can't wait to share for the holidays. We found ourselves in a rare circumstance! Every family member was going to be together for Thanksgiving the weekend before the holiday. What can I say about Early Morning Light Studio, Jillian is unbelievable. To start she took photos from our stay in NICU with our newborn preemie and was able to remove the feeding , and oxygen tubes to create the most amazing early baby shots! She then came to our house to do our family portraits once our newborn was home.
She was kind, Professional , and took the most amazing pictures of our little one and the whole family.

I met Jillian two years ago when I first moved to Phoenix. I was looking to get some new modeling pics done but what I got was amazing friend, who just happened to be an incredible photographer!
